Employment
Groundwork, Working in South Tyneside has a successful history of delivering employment initiatives within the borough. In the past the Trust has delivered Intermediate Labour Market (ILM) programmes, for example Community Construction, Neighbourhood Pride, Heritage Trail Stewards, Park Rangers, and Youth and Community Workers.
The current employment programmes target Lone Parents and Incapacity Benefit Claimants, and works with them to help raise peoples aspirations and successfully help them with the transition into sustainable employment.
